The CLT sees tens of millions of visitors yearly. On average, between forty and fifty million passengers visit the airport each and every year. These passengers all require different facilities and look for different amenities to keep them entertained as they wait for their flights.
Before further discussing the services that can be found at the CLT, it is important to note that the airport consists of only one main terminal. This means that all of the services are found in that very terminal. There are, however, five different concourses that house all the different gates. But the concourses are all within walking distances from one another as they are, at the end of the day, under the same roof.
This layout makes everything within reach, regardless of where you are at the airport.
Amenities for entertainment
The CLT contains well over sixty different cafes, bars, and restaurants that cater to every palette and every dietary restriction.
You can find everything from well-known fast food chains, to ethnic food, dessert places, and everything in between.
Additionally, do make some time for shopping as the shops and Duty Free stores you will find at the CLT will most definitely grab your attention.

Charlotte Airport lost and found
Losing an item while traveling is never an easy experience, but the CLT attempts its best to help you with their designated CLT Airport lost and found office that can be found not far from baggage claim area B.
The office operates daily from eight o’clock in the morning and until six o’clock in the evening.

Charlotte Airport baggage claim
With many concourses available, there are just as many CLT Airport baggage claim zones and more!
In every concourse, the first level is dedicated to accommodating the arriving passengers and the services related to them. This means that the passport control and the baggage claims are also found on the first level of each of the five concourses.
Minute Suites
These suites are available to rent on an hourly basis, and they offer private rooms and bathroom facilities, which makes them perfect for freshening up and taking a nap before your upcoming flight.
Such a service is of particular relevance to passengers who have prolonged stays at the airport and those who have connecting flights.
The cost of using a shower facility for half an hour is 20.00 USD, and the cost of getting a room for an hour is 48.00 USD.
Convenient facilities
There are many facilities that are not only meant to make your journey through the airport more enjoyable, but also more convenient.
For instance, nursing rooms are available at the upper floors of concourses A and D. Additionally, pet relief zones are outside of every concourse as well as inside each concourse except C. These zones are very important for passengers who are traveling with service animals.
If prayer is an important part of your day, you can head over to the inter-faith chapel at the top floor of the Atrium.
And although smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the terminal, you can find smoking areas outside concourses A and D.
And last but not least, free high speed Wi-Fi can be enjoyed throughout the airport by all passengers as well as charging stations for your devices that can be found at each concourse.
