These parking zones usually offer their customers shuttles that are free of charge to transport them between the parking zone and the airport.
The parking zones that are outside the premises of the airport may be sought after by passengers who are hoping to save a few bucks, as these lots are usually more affordable than the ones that are closer to the airport.
Within the parking zones that are on the premises of the airport, there are further two classifications, which depend on just how long you plan on leaving your vehicle parked.
Douglas International Airport long term parking
The main options under this section are the first and the second lots. They are wonderful options for anyone who is planning on leaving their car at the airport while on a trip.
The cost of keeping your vehicle at one of these lots is 10.00 USD a day. It is surprisingly affordable, and it is one of the efforts of the airport in making your journey as smooth as possible.
Douglas International Airport short term parking
There are two possibilities when it comes to this category, and both of them have different rules, services, and charges.
The first possibility is better known as Hourly, and leaving your car there is free of charge for the initial fifteen minutes. The initial hour, however, and every hour after it, cost 6.00 USD. The most that you can be charged in one day is 24.00 USD.
On the other hand, the second possibility, which is also known as Daily, costs 12.00 USD a day.
In this option, you have more than one zone to choose from. In fact, you have three different zones. This means that there is always space for everyone, and you will not be left spending a lot of time looking for an empty and convenient space to park at.
For those who are interested, there are also several options for valet services that are priced differently.
The Business service, provides first-rate amenities including car washes, vehicle inspections, charging stations, and more. The cost is 14.00 USD per day, and a shuttle is needed to reach it.
The second option is more convenient as it allows passengers to drive their cars to the terminal. At the curbside of the building, a valet assistant will be ready to assist customers with their luggage. When you are ready to collect your car, it will be ready at the same curbside location.

This option is pricier than the previous ones due to the convenience it offers in terms of the location at which your car can be left at and returned to, and it costs 35.00 USD daily.
There is also a third option – the Express deck. It entails that the passengers go to this zone to leave their cars with the valet assistants. Meanwhile, collecting your car can be done at the curbside just like the previous option.
This service costs 16.00 USD a day without prior reservation, and 14.00 USD per day with prior reservation.
Additional options
The cell phone lots do not cost anything to park at temporarily while you wait before going to the terminal to pick up an arriving passenger.
